Jacques Marie Mage Ocean Child Sun (Carmine)
Jacques Marie Mage Ocean Child Sun in Carmine are late-’70s-inspired spectacles from the John & Yoko by JMM collection, handcrafted in Japan from plant-based acetate with an oversized rounded-square lens shape, uniquely offset temple profile and JMM’s signature precious-metal detailing. A tribute to the storied love and legacy of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Ocean Child are inspired by the actual eyewear worn by Yoko Ono while working with John Lennon on their album Double Fantasy (1980). The name references a poetic phrase in Lennon’s “Julia”, drawn from the literal translation of Ono’s first name.
