Cutler and Gross’s 1390 is ‘80’s-inspired through and through. This rounded acetate frame nods to both their archived 0197 - originally made in 1987 - and a certain Material Girl’s visit to the Knightsbridge store in 1989. Capturing the spirit of London’s eccentric street fashion of that time, the 1390 feels distinctly confident in its design. If you're also looking to pay homage to an iconoclastic pop giant, your best bet would be the Papa Don’t Peach colourway.
